About

Be heard. Feel supported. Become empowered.

Welcome! I'm Dr. Shatavia (Dr. Shay) Thomas, and I have been in the mental health field for 20 years. I earned my BS in Psychology and MS in Professional Counseling (from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA) and my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL). I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in GA and an out-of-state telehealth provider for FL. At this time, I am offering virtual services only. Please note that I am an out-of-network provider, which means that my practice is self-pay (as opposed to in-network with insurance companies). Let's collaborate to facilitate insight and co-create meaningful change!
